How do you know what type of vibratory bowl would work best for feeding a part in your automation system? There are many factors that go into the decision but using the ADI Test Lab removes the uncertainty in the process. Let our technicians do the research and assemble a vibratory feeder bowl customized for your needs. Send us your part and we’ll run it through a variety of automation applications and determine the optimum system.

We have a variety of vibratory feeder bowl configurations set up in our test lab that allow us to determine the best type of bowl to orient your part efficiently and at the proper rate. We have some general guidelines for the type of bowl to use for standard parts but depending on the size and geometry of your part we can assess it in a variety of scenarios. Cylindrical parts often perform best in a V track bowl. Hi negative track bowls are typically used for flat irregular parts or parts with a projection on one side. Our large stock of inventory allows us to test with high positive track, flat track, multiple track bowls and more.

Track configuration isn’t the only thing we can evaluate in the ADI Test lab. We also have a variety of bowl materials and linings that can have influence in the efficiency of the part orienting application. Depending on the environment, noise could be an issue so we can evaluate your part in lined and unlined bowls to measure the difference in sound. The abrasiveness of the part also factors into the material used in bowl construction. In the test lab we can orient a part using multiple surface conditions to see which one holds up the best.

The experts here at Automation Devices are ready to get in the lab with your part and take the uncertainty out of your automation system purchase. Save time and money by knowing that the vibratory feeder bowl you will be using had been assessed with your part to deliver the best system performance
