ADI Expands Product Line to Include New Low Profile Base Unit
Automation Devices, Inc., (ADI) a vibratory feeder manufacturer, is now offering a Model 10 low profile base unit for vibratory feeder bowls. The new Model 10 low profile base unit, is designed for feeder bowls between 10 and 18 inches and offers a lower height from the table to top of drive unit, ultimately taking up less space compared to standard feeders.
A popular feature of ADI feeders is the round base, which lends itself to the use of a shell cover which keeps parts, debris and incidental liquids out of the spring and coil area.
“The new low profile housing is made of ABS thermoplastic, eliminating the sometimes cumbersome two-part metal shell and latching system on standard shells,” explains ADI Project Manager, Dallas Holmes. “It is a unique product and is simply not like anything other bowl builders offer in their product line,” adds Holmes.
The Model 10 low profile is half the size of competitor 10 inch bowl drives which makes it ideal for customers where space is at a premium. It is available in AC at 120 pulses per second or half wave rectified at 60 pulses per second and also 24 volts.
