Orienting Roller Applications

This feeder system is equipped with a 24 inch set of orienting rolls which gauge the diameter of the part being fed with extremely tight tolerances. The orienting rollers serve multiple purposes: they convey parts over distances, act as a quality control system ensuring part diameters are within tolerances and remove unwanted sizes.

Syringe plunger assemblies orient naturally as they drop down between two counter-revolving rollers, hanging by the upper end which forms the major diameter of the assembly.
